Professor Greeniac in his white lab coat has been presenting classes and training sessions since then.

Four Reasons for Antifreeze - - Reason Number One

Antifreeze is in your system for four very important reasons.

The first, seemingly obvious, is anti freeze. You don't want your car engine freezing up, especially if you live in northern States or if you're taking a trip to the mountains.

Glycol is much better for antifreeze than water is since its freeze point is much lower than that of water.

But the mixture of glycol and water will provide optimal protection.

Clear Choice Antifreeze, with CEO John Panasewicz at the helm, has been in business since 1997.

As John says, we were "green" before green was cool!

During the past decade, we've reclaimed nearly 3,000,000 gallons of spent coolant.

Did you know that ethylene glycol, the key ingredient in antifreeze, is made from petroleum? It's a non-renewable resource, but, it can be recycled and processed back into usable antifreeze indefinitely.

We're proud of our vacuum distillation process that allows us to remove oil, along with the additive pack, dye and other impurities. We then manufacture a state-of-the-art antifreeze that is suitable for use in all automotive applications.

Because of Clear Choice's efforts, over 3,000,000 gallons of used antifreeze has not gone into the environment (either landfills or sanitary drains). How cool is that?
